Let go, let God

If we take a moment to look around, and just gaze at the complexity  and intricacy of God’s creation, starting from our own human bodies, we see Who He is and how He chooses to love us beyond our imperfections.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. We are to walk in absolute obedience. As clay in the Potter’s hands, if we decide to jump out according to our own wish and will, we are hindering ourselves from being moulded by God.

When it comes to situations or circumstances that bother us, or any other matter of concern, we’ve gotta entrust it entirely to God, and He takes over and no longer, will it be about how it will end but it will be about that overflowing peace in our hearts.

As we learn to trust God, and give Him control, God starts changing things in our lives. He might remove people or things and add new ones too. And if we are going to revert back when all the change is happening, just because it is not our comfort zone, it would mean that we don’t trust God entirely. So, as He knows the plan and although what we see is a mystery, let’s give it all to the One for whom it is a memory.

When Abraham went with Issac to sacrifice him, he didn’t know it was going to end well but nevertheless, he trusted God. Are you willing to give God that control over your life and have that sort of a faith in Him?

One of the most beautiful things that can happen in God’s presence is to surrender ourselves. Surrendering is a way of asking God to teach us. Through personal experience and through the Bible we know for a fact that God’s ways are better. Why anything else? When the world sees us going through difficult times, they are constantly observing us. At this point, when we surrender to God, although they may think that we are letting go, we know that we are letting God. When questioned, we can boldly answer as God’s beloved that our lives are not are own and that the One in control knows where I’m heading. God bless you:)
