“Jesus Christ was lifted up on the cross drawing men to Himself destroying the power of sin and satan and death and hell, He was lifted up from the grave as the risen savior, He was lifted up to glory as the exalted King of kings. He is lifted up today in our lives, when we decrease and He increases, when we allow Him to be seen more, when we love as He loved, when we stand as His witnesses, He is lifted up. He is a God who fights our battles – battles from within, battles from the world and the darts of the enemy. We need to only stand still as we remember the victory is already won. That we are victors because of the finished work on the cross. That we are overcomers because He has overcome.”
