“Many times we read Isaiah 9:6, 7 only during Christmas times. But the fact is that our Lord is wonderful counselor, mighty God, prince of peace can become reality of our day to day lives. As we listen to these songs let us worship Jesus for who He is. More so that He is King of king and became a servant and died for us on the Cross and made us His children.

The song Cross of Christ. I put it down one Sunday morning as I prayed and to recognise deep within my heart that the work of salvation was about the love of our Father God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.

May our lives resound the love and sacrifice of Our Saviour King.”

“The Nature of God”

Worship should be right from your heart,it should be something that is really personal between you and your heavenly Father.
We will be able to share our joys and worries completely with a person only when we know that person well. This applies even with God. In order to surrender we should know the nature of God.
When we introspect our life and read the word of God, we will realise that our God is a holy, loving, caring, gentle, faithful and a righteous God.
We should bless God inspite of all the tests or temptations we go through. We should discipline our souls to worship God even if you get a ‘No’ as an answer or no answer from God. We should always remember that no answer from God does not imply absence of God.

  1. Great is Your faithfulness O Lord

    Worship begins by reminding ourselves of the unchanging character of God – and His unchanging faithfulness is central to this. He is faithful to His work, to his Word.

  2. Over all the earth You reign on high

    He reigns as Creator and sustainer of the universe, but His lordship over OUR lives is a decision I must make as a creature of free will. Will I yield to Him completely today?

  3. I bow my knee before Your throne

    ‘My life is not my own’….this song reminds me, and also that the our hearts my seek the Giver, and not just the gifts that come from Him.

  4. Cornerstone

    There can be only foundation, and Christ is that foundation. Can I say with the apostle Paul ‘I count everything else as loss….’

    His faithfulness does not change, and all his promises are backed by His word. Not that this means that all my claims to those promises are answered as I think they should be, but rather that everything allowed in my life is for my good, and for His glory. (Rom 8:28)

    His Word says that every hair on my head is numbered…..every day of my life was known to Him before I was ever born.

  7. Lord, You have my heart

    ‘Lord, You have my heart, and I will search for Yours’. This song reminds us that as we seek HIS face, we will see His glory here!

Tremble

The Bible is filled with references to trembling, shaking and shuddering. Raging sea and troubled waters are all calmed by the immensely powerful name of Jesus. Mighty mountains will tremble before the Lord. Demons shudder at the mention of His name.The same power is seen when he calms the raging storms in our hearts if we give our hearts to Him and stand on the solid rock of Christ. Just a word from Him can bring peace and still to our lives.
