“After today’s worship session, 11/11/18 marks the most special day of my life that I can never forget. Prior to today’s worship, I did never realize that why this theme came to my mind and why I chose this theme called “New Wine”. After today’s sermon by the speaker D.J. Christopher, I realized the entire day’s proceedings were all planned by the Holy God Himself. as my worship theme and the sermon was just so befitting today and the entire setting was just so perfect.
NEW WINE signifies the Holy Spirit Himself. New Wine will only flow out from you if only you surrender yourself to God completely. That doesn’t mean the process is going to be easy and a happy one. Just like grapes are thrashed, pressed, crushed to produce delicious New Wine out of them, likewise one has to undergo through a lot of difficulties, tests and trials to finally let the Holy Spirit reign in you and to bring New Wine out of me. And as I’ve been all through these phases in my recent past years of my life, I believe God chose me today to let His message be conveyed to the church through me. Because all I am today is by His grace. That is why just the night before this Sunday, I felt a voice in me kept on asking me to share my testimony in front of the church. I was not sure whether I should testify or not but then as I stated from the beginning, today was planned completely by God Himself and so He used me for His purpose and glory. So, I found y testimony to be very relatable that I conveyed today. As I chose the Bible references Luke 5 :37-39 and Matthew 9:17, they all signify that God wants us to completely surrender to Him, to be filled with His Reckless Love, to Keep His Banner Flying High at the end of our struggles, to rejoice forever and to Feel Alive on the God’s Great Dance Floor. No matter how broken you are, the Grace of God is Amazing and will let you out-pour New Wine. Amen and keep on praising God for everything! “
