It’s always been You, Jesus

“Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

It’s beautiful how there’s always something to thank God for. It just shows how good he is to us. If we recall any of our birthdays, it’s usually filled with so many wishes and gifts. But thinking about it, God’s word promises us so much everyday and also, everyday in it self is a gift full of grace and strength! For so much and more, let’s thank Him, shall we?

It’s very important that we learn to make the right choices everyday, and we are privileged to have His word guide us through it all, especially emphasize how He is the way, truth and life. In other words, it pleases God, as our Father that we His children, make Him our choice.

The moment we realize that all we ever need is all in God, and learn to seek Him, we will gain peace and strength to face anything that is ahead of us. It’s a beautiful calmness that fills our heart even if we don’t always have a solution.

Many a times, it’s so easy to give up all that we do thinking that it has no significance. But it always makes sense when Jesus is at the centre of it all. We need to realize that what we do is primarily to glorify God!

Isaiah 43:1

But now, thus says the Lord , who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

I personally love the detailing in this verse. It clearly states how even the flame won’t scorch us. I mean, isn’t that wonderful to know that when God is with us, nothing or or no one can be against us? And yet, giving God this priority and choosing His will over ours often makes things simple but not easy. At that moment of struggle, it is essential for us to realize that God will surely make a way for His children. Let’s never let go of the hope we have in Him!

To spend time with God, learning about Him, is something that delights God. Let our hearts beat for Him alone and in all that we speak, do and think, let His name be glorified. May our priority and all that we desire be God’s presence and constant communion with Him!”

Fellowship

Fellowship with the Lord is a dynamic process, knowing Him and growing in Him.

It involves submitting to Him to be moulded into the beautiful person we will become. The path may not be smooth, it might be rocky but God is ever willing to hold our hands and guide us through just like a father holds his son’s hands ensuring safety and security.

Fellowship with those in church:

Gal 6:2 “Carry each others burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” We are called to encourage one another with prayers in times of difficulties, to remain united and to trust in God continually

Fellowship with others:

As it is said in Mat 5:16″In the same way let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and thank the Father in heaven”.

Let us strive daily to be a reflection of Christ so that others may see us and be led to the Lord.

The beauty of the Lord.  Psalm 27:4

“I felt led to lead the Church in worship of God’s Beauty, both in all his majesty & in the person of Jesus Christ. As I was preparing for worship, God taught me about his internal Beauty & how we, as Christians, can manifest it (His Beauty) in our lives, by continually feeding off of the beauty of God, by spending time with Him in His presence.”

“My Wealth is in the Cross” (Philippians 3:7-8)

“Treasure of the Cross and its huge value when compared to everything else.

So, what are the treasures that take most of the space/room in the heart? Mathew 6:21 says For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

We need to remind ourselves that Jesus has done everything for us and we need to set our hearts on Jesus, The greatest treasure. The rest is inferior in comparison whether its our degrees, reputation, identity means worthless when compared to the wealth that is in the cross … Jesus is the only name that saves us and through him we may have eternal life.

Philippians 3:7-8

But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowingChrist Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ”

“The joy of the Lord is my strength”

1. Today is the day

When we walk into the presence of God, there is an overwhelming Grace in a new dimension that makes us realise that no worry, no fear, rather nothing can take away the joy that He blesses us with.

2. Gaao Hallelujah

God has rescued us from Satan’s snare and this means that we are absolutely free because of what He has done on the cross. Truly understanding the depth of His love would want us to sing Hallelujah to His name.

3. As the Deer Panteth

We look up to the world, for most of the things we face. What we forget is that the God Who led is always by our side and we need to take everything before Him, into His presence. When we learn to kneel down in His presence, the joy He gives us will fill our hearts with peace to face anything.

4. Knowing You Jesus

The greatest joy is in knowing our Father’s heart and His ways, as He reveals it to us. There is always something new for us to listen and learn from God as we earnestly seek Him. Let this joy be something we pursue, every minute of our lives.

5. Lord I offer my life

Hebrews 12:2 – looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

To live every moment of our life, according to His will, is to completely surrender knowing that He sustains and will sustain us. May our lives be a testimony of faith, filled with joy that comes with trusting God.

Let go, let God

If we take a moment to look around, and just gaze at the complexity  and intricacy of God’s creation, starting from our own human bodies, we see Who He is and how He chooses to love us beyond our imperfections.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. We are to walk in absolute obedience. As clay in the Potter’s hands, if we decide to jump out according to our own wish and will, we are hindering ourselves from being moulded by God.

When it comes to situations or circumstances that bother us, or any other matter of concern, we’ve gotta entrust it entirely to God, and He takes over and no longer, will it be about how it will end but it will be about that overflowing peace in our hearts.

As we learn to trust God, and give Him control, God starts changing things in our lives. He might remove people or things and add new ones too. And if we are going to revert back when all the change is happening, just because it is not our comfort zone, it would mean that we don’t trust God entirely. So, as He knows the plan and although what we see is a mystery, let’s give it all to the One for whom it is a memory.

When Abraham went with Issac to sacrifice him, he didn’t know it was going to end well but nevertheless, he trusted God. Are you willing to give God that control over your life and have that sort of a faith in Him?

One of the most beautiful things that can happen in God’s presence is to surrender ourselves. Surrendering is a way of asking God to teach us. Through personal experience and through the Bible we know for a fact that God’s ways are better. Why anything else? When the world sees us going through difficult times, they are constantly observing us. At this point, when we surrender to God, although they may think that we are letting go, we know that we are letting God. When questioned, we can boldly answer as God’s beloved that our lives are not are own and that the One in control knows where I’m heading. God bless you:)

The song list:

Lord reign in me

Trust and obey

Shepherd of my soul

From the inside out

Mighty to save

Abba Father
