Psalm 34

1 I bless God every chance I get;

my lungs expand with his praise.

2 I live and breathe God;

if things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy:

3 Join me in spreading the news;

together let’s get the word out.

4 God met me more than halfway,

he freed me from my anxious fears.

8 Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see—

how good God is.

Blessed are you who run to him.

9 Worship God if you want the best;

worship opens doors to all his goodness.

10 Young lions on the prowl get hungry,

but God-seekers are full of God.

11 Come, children, listen closely;

I’ll give you a lesson in God worship.

Our God is a Good God not because of the things he does for us or the blessings he gives us,  He is Good for it’s His character  and Nature to be Good . Goodness of Our living God is through all the times of our life both good and bad as we live through this earthly life. God’s goodness kindness tenderness is shown to us everyday , our prayer should be as the words of the song Don Moen wrote in God is good all the time “though  I may not understand all the plans you have for me my life is in your hands THROUGH THE EYES OF FAITH I CAN CLEARLY .’

Our God is a good good Father and we are loved by Him that’s what we are. Trust in the Goodness of God and worship him for Goodness and mercy that will follow us all the days  of our life. Psalm 23 v6

Song List:

Worship: Maureen

Theme: Little things

“God sees all little things and takes importance of them. For example when He says He knows the number of our hairs. We cant justify stealing a pen just as we can’t justify stealing an expensive car. Big things come from the small things too that is how God is amazing.

All of the human race has no idea how we function, including the most educated world. Why then not leave it for the creator to take care of it because He is the only one who knows the little details that matter.”

“Even in the fire, I’m alive in You” is a line that has been stuck in my head for a few months now and it was a natural choice for the theme song for todays worship. Meditating on what keeps us alive, I loved how God moved songs together like a jigsaw puzzle to create a time of worship to make the worshippers be ALIVE.

1. Is anyone thirsty: Graham Kendricks visit to Vellore inspired this song to start off our worship today. If you are thirsty, you are alive! “Let them come to me and drink”

2.Everyday (Hillsong): You can’t be alive for just a few days and choose to be dead on other days. Everyday, it’s You I live for!

3. I stand in awe (Beautiful beyond description): When you are awestruck by something beautiful, you feel soooooo alive!

4. Alive in You (Jesus Culture): Even in the fire, I’m alive in You!

5. This is the air I breathe (Michael W Smith): Immersing yourself in Christ’s presence and breathing Him in fills you with life

6. Because He Lives (Bill Gaither): And the real joy in being alive is because we have a God who is alive today.

Rick Warren: If you’re alive, there’s a purpose for your life.

Ephesians 2:4-5 – But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us ALIVE WITH CHRIST even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved

Galatians 2:20 – I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

“We are continually living in this glorious paradox of the awesomeness of the infinite God,  the (almost) nothingness of human existence,  and the immeasurable price paid to re-create us into the image of His Son Jesus Christ.”

Song List

Is anyone thirsty?

Come thou fount of every blessing

Who am I

My worth is not in what I own

All I once held dear

Let the weak say ‘I am strong’

All that I am (Lord I offer my life to you)

Message: Dr. Margery Emmanuel

Topic: How God can turn tragedies into triumph

Worship Leader: Maureen

Theme: God’s love

“We seem to always think that 1st Corinthians 13 which talks about the attributes of love always refers to our earthly relationships. But do we apply it in our relationship with God. He loves us so much and we live because he has loved us. If love amongst ourselves can cover a multitude of sins …What more can God’s love do ?”

Song List

Tambira Jehovah ( Dance for the Lord)

Because He lives

The Power of Your Love

Wonderful, Merciful Savior

Munoshamisa ( So amazing Lord)
