<\/strong>“God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus…”. There is more to a name than merely <\/i>what we call someone. When we say someone’s name, it brings to mind the person, their qualities, the ‘who’ that they are. The Name Jesus was given because ‘He will save His people from their sins’ (Matt 1:21). He has so many other Names, but I’m sure none so precious as “Jesus, Saviour, Redeemer” because He was<\/p>\n

“Humbled for a season to receive a Name<\/p>\n

<\/i>From the lips of sinners unto who He came.<\/p>\n

<\/i>Faithfully He bore it, spotless till the last<\/p>\n

<\/i>Brought it back victorious when from death He passed!!”<\/p>\n

<\/i>We whisper His name in awe and adoration, shout His name in joy and triumph, plead His name in repentance and despair. We savour the sound of His Name because of all He means to us. And when we think of all He means to us, our response should be to offer all that we are and have to Him for ever.<\/p>\n
