The worship session today was a lead up to the Childrens Christmas program. We concentrated on the fact that we cannot separate the manger\u00a0 from the cross. Christmas is not a stand-alone event, but a beautiful event that God interweaved intricately into history that links the beginning, the birth of Jesus, the sacrifice He made and the joy of eternal life that we have today. We may not have been there in the sky as angels singing “Gloria in excelsis Deo” on that day, but we can worship the king with the same joy today.<\/p>\n

As a church it needs to be our heartfelt wish that each child will know the true meaning of\u00a0 Christmas and that we as individuals and as a church have not forgotten the true significance of this season.<\/p>\n
